Introduction
The protection of personal data of both internal and external job applicants is a matter of great importance to Clear Channel Belgium (a private limited liability company, with its registered office and principal place of business in 1800 Vilvoorde, Laurent-Benoit Dewezplein, 5: “Clear Channel Belgium”). Clear Channel Belgium collects and processes personal data of job applicants in accordance with the Act on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data. This means, for example, that Clear Channel Belgium will use this information in a fair and lawful manner.
The Privacy Statement which has been drawn up by Clear Channel Belgium is intended to inform job applicants about how Clear Channel Belgium collects and processes personal data from both internal and external job applicants in Belgium. To comply with all applicable laws and regulations, Clear Channel Belgium can at any time and without prior notice, change and/or adjust the Privacy Statement. The modifications and adaptations concerned shall enter into force from the moment they are published on this website. Clear Channel Belgium uses personal information submitted by a job applicant for the sole purpose of facilitating the recruitment and selection process as responsible, effective and efficient as possible. It is possible to apply for both open applications as applications for existing vacancies at Clear Channel Belgium. Personal information collected and retained by Clear Channel Belgium will be processed for recruitment purposes only.

These recruitment purposes are: comparing the data of the job applicants with existing vacancies at Clear Channel Belgium, the communication of the recruitment and selection procedure of Clear Channel Belgium, scheduling interviews with job applicants, the testing of job applicants in the form of an assessment and informing job applicants about other possible relevant vacancies at Clear Channel Belgium. Data of job applicants
Clear Channel Belgium shall collect and process all personal data submitted by the job applicant in accordance with the law and in proper and careful manner. These data are adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purpose of recruitment. Clear Channel Belgium takes the necessary measures to ensure that personal data of applicants is accurate and complete.
Clear Channel Belgium collects personal data of the job applicants regarding their identity, place of residence, address, nationality, civil status, e-mail address, telephone number, education (training, courses, internships, etc.) and employment history (current and previous employer(s), possible references, etc.).

Clear Channel Belgium does not collect and process sensitive information about job applicants. Examples include: data that reveals the racial or ethnic background, political, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, and health or sex life of the job applicant.
If under certain circumstances, sensitive information about a job applicant has to be collected or it is volunteered to Clear Channel Belgium, Clear Channel Belgium will only process these data with the express written consent of the job applicant. It should be noted that this data will only be collected by Clear Channel Belgium if it is meant to provide an advantage to the job applicant. Also he will be informed about the reason of the collection of this data beforehand and he will receive a list mentioning the categories of employees of Clear Channel Belgium who will have access to this data.

Disclosure of personal data of applicants
Clear Channel Belgium shall under no circumstances make personal data of job applicants available, with the exception of the personal data filled in by the job applicant on the Website, to third parties, with exception to the party that assists Clear Channel Belgium with the recruitment process. 
In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, Clear Channel Belgium can be obligated to make personal data of job applicants available. Within this framework one can think about the obligation to disclose personal data to authorities and/or because of a court order. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, it can also be necessary that Clear Channel Belgium will disclose personal data of job applicants, to protect its legal rights.

Retention period of personal data of job applicants
Only if required and in case of a ‘business need”, Clear Channel Belgium will store the personal data of the job applicants after the recruitment and selection process has ended. A “business need” to keep this data might be the storing of the personal data of the job applicant in case a suitable vacancy arises in the future.
Clear Channel Belgium stores personal data of applicants for a period of three years. Afterwards, the personal data will be deleted, unless Clear Channel Belgium has the job applicant’s permission to extend the retention period by one year.

After the expiration of the retention period of personal data of job applicants, the personal data will be removed from the database of Clear Channel Belgium.

Technical security
Clear Channel Belgium uses appropriate security technologies to best protect personal data of job applicants against loss, unauthorized access, improper use and all other manner of unlawful processing.
Only employees of Clear Channel Belgium involved in the recruitment process of job applicants have access to personal data of the job applicants. These employees are required to respect the privacy of job applicants who visit the website of Clear Channel Belgium. They are also obligated to keep the personal data of job applicants confidential.

Rights of job applicants

A job applicant has the right to access his or her personal data stored by Clear Channel Belgium. In addition, the job applicant has the right to request Clear Channel Belgium supplementation, correction, deletion or blocking his or her personal data. Clear Channel Belgium makes an effort to keep personal data of applicants up to date.
