Brief history

The 1960s Incorporated as City Advertising
2001 Clear Channel Belgium NV was incorporated.
2007 Clear Channel Belgium joined forces with LijnCom NV to come up with a joint tram and bus offer.
2008 Clear Channel Belgium purchased a 49% share in Upright and Urban Media.
2011 Clear Channel Belgium became full (100%) owner of Urban Media, specialist in monumental outdoor advertising. Clear Channel Belgium launched the "Velo", a bicycle project, together with the City of Antwerp. Clear Channel Play, digital out-of-home solutions, was launched country-wide.
April 2012 Launched the Cubes network, a European first.
May 2012 Launch of billboards (More O’Ferrall 36m²) in high definition in five major Belgian cities.
July 2012 Merger of Clear Channel Belgium, Metrabus, Urban Media and Upright.
  Clear Channel outlined its 'Where brands meet people' strategy and launched flexible, customised solutions with 'People & Places'.
October 2012 The Urban Media team, specialists in monumental outdoor advertising, was integrated into the Clear Channel family.
nov-16 Clear Channel launches City Play, the first urban digital network in Belgium
janv-17 Clear Channel International launches out-of-home’s first Programmatic buying solution with a guaranteed offer for the European advertising market
